Our client is the premier broadcaster of cricket in the United States and Canada. They produce and distribute 24x7 high definition television and digital video channels dedicated to cricket.
The client operates the world's leading portal for live Internet streaming of all Cricket events. They provide subscribers with an unparalleled viewing experience with enhancements such as live HD quality streaming, interactive video scorecards, and statistics, available on all Browsers and Operating Systems, across a multitude of devices. This includes Laptops, PCs, Smartphones, Tablet devices and also the IP based devices connected to the TV set, like Apple TV, Roku, Samsung Internet@TV, Google TV, Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, XBox One, Panasonic Viera Connect, Netgear Neo TV, PS3 and many more.
We are looking for candidates who are:
Technically Hands-on, prior experience with scalable architecture, a strong background in algorithms, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Objective-C & Swift language proficiency along with Cocoa Touch knowledge.
Hands-on experience working with Storyboards, auto layout, static & dynamic constraints, animations and core data.
Hands-on experience using third-party SDKs & Cocoapods.
Experience in video streaming domain will be a strong advantage.
Experience in application profiling and improving application performance & memory management.
Skills: iOS App Development, Objective C, Swift and Xcode.
Requirements
What we are looking for
Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms, and software engineering principles
Passionate about creating great code
Multiple years of experience in Android application development, with Java and/or Kotlin. Kotlin experience is a major advantage.
More than one published application on the Google Play Store available for immediate download and review by our team. Please provide the names of all the apps that you've worked on, with a brief description of the contribution (if not individually developed).
Strong experience in building and publishing commercial applications to the Google Play Store.
Multiple years of experience in Java I/O, RDBMS, Networking, Generics, and well-known application frameworks.
Solid understanding of Android design principles and interface guidelines.
Experience with performance and memory tuning using tools.
Experience coding with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
Great team player who works well in collaborative situations.
Experience with iOS app development is a major plus. Experience with cross-platform tools would be an advantage.
Experience with tools like Git, Jira, Basecamp, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps would be an advantage.
Good to have experience working with IoT projects, Bluetooth technologies.
Active Open Source, GitHub or Stack Overflow contribution will be a big plus.
Having personal apps in the Play Store will be an added advantage.
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends & emerging technologies.is
