If you’re passionate about building platforms at scale that help transform the lives of consumers, small businesses and accountants we would love to have you join our team as a Principal Product Manager for the Financial Data Platform. As a product manager on the team, you will be enabling the industry leading Intuit products like Quickbooks, TurboTax and Mint deliver awesome customer experiences by acquiring, managing and sharing user’s financial data. We are looking for candidates who have strong product management experience in both services and user interfaces, with deep technical understanding, customer empathy, strong execution capability, and a track record of building strong business partnerships and delivering impactful business results.


Responsibilities
● Define and lead the vision and strategy for the financial data platform, provide product thought leadership in identifying critical customer requirements, understand business goals, define product end state, and work with development teams in designing optimal user experience and successful business solutions
● Work closely with Intuit design teams and with financial institutions to develop delightful customer experiences to connect, acquire, present and manage user’s financial data
● Work closely with architects and engineers to design secure and scalable solutions while ensuring a frictionless user experience
● Lead a high performing team of PM and business analysts
● Take a data driven approach in defining success metrics, prioritizing requirements, and communicating plan, progress and success
● Drive the execution of the product plan, working closely with the product team across all functions. You are the product owner for these services
● Drive project execution and delivery by managing dependencies and plans across the different services and teams required for the solution
● Work closely with the different Intuit business offering teams to understand the requirements, priorities, and drive to a common goal

● Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to persuade, communicate vision and motivate people at every level; collaborative working style
● Spend time with end-users to understand their pain points, gather insights on how we can solve some of those big customer problems in a delightful way
● Represent the financial data services team in presentations, meetings, customer and partner events internally and externally

Qualifications
● 15+years of IT experience, with 8+ years in product management, designing and delivering world-class platform products in a Product Management role, especially data integration or large scale application integration
● Track record in defining and delivering awesome products solving big customer needs
● Demonstrable technical depth in SaaS software development and data integration - ie reading code, architecture and design discussions - with strong engagement with engineering and architecture teams
● Demonstrated success in taking data driven approach and delivering impactful business result
● Demonstrated proficiency in program/project management, and success in managing complex program/project deliverables cross multiple teams
● Ability to develop and execute a successful product roadmap
● Experience with Agile development and methodologies being the product owner
● Proven experience in defining big visions and inspiring teams to deliver new innovations and impactful products
● Track record of working closely with customers, partners, listening and taking a customer-focused approach to strategy and priorities - passion for the customer
● Excellent collaboration skills - leading execution across teams, influencing across organizations
● Good communication skills - in small teams and larger group presentation formats

Requirements

What we are looking for

• Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms, and software engineering principles

• Passionate about creating great code

• Multiple years of experience in Android application development, with Java and/or Kotlin.

Kotlin's experience is a major advantage.

• More than one published application on the Google Play store available for immediate download and review by our team. Please provide the names of all your apps that you've worked with a brief description of your contribution (if not individually developed).

• Strong experience in building and publishing commercial applications to Google Play store.

• Multiple years of in Java I/O, RDBMS, Networking, Generics, and well-known application frameworks.

• Solid Understanding of Android design principles and interface guidelines.

• Experience with performance and memory tuning using tools

• Experience coding with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.

• Great team player who works well in collaborative situations

• Experience with iOS app development is a major plus. Experience with cross-platform tools would be an advantage

• Experience with tools like Git, Jira, Basecamp, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps would be an advantage.

• Good to have experience working with IoT projects, Bluetooth technologies

• Active Open Source, GitHub or Stack Overflow contribution will be a big plus

• Having personal apps in play store will be an added advantage

• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends & emerging technologies.
